Private Viola Lessons
Our Private Viola Lessons provide personalized, one-on-one instruction for students ages 6 and up. Designed for both beginners and orchestra students, each lesson helps students develop a warm, resonant viola tone while building the technique needed for the viola’s larger spacing, comfortable posture, and confident bow control.
Students learn to read music fluently, including alto clef, and develop the listening skills needed to play inner harmonies and supportive lines that bring depth to an ensemble. With encouraging mentorship and structured progress, students gain confidence for school orchestra performances, youth ensembles, and community groups across the Rio Grande Valley, discovering the joy of being the rich musical “voice” that makes the whole group sound full and complete.
